This role ensures material availability, accuracy, and compliance with project specifications, contributing to efficient and safe project execution. Job Responsibilities\*\* \* Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials, verifying quantities against purchase orders and identifying any discrepancies or damages. \* Organize and maintain a well-structured and safe materials storage area, including proper labeling, inventory control, and preservation of materials. \* Issue materials to field personnel and subcontractors based on requisitions and project schedules, ensuring accurate record-keeping of all material movements. \* Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile with system records, investigating and resolving any variances. \* Operate various material handling equipment, such as forklifts and telehandlers, safely and efficiently. \* Collaborate with project management, procurement, and field teams to anticipate material needs and address potential supply chain issues. \* Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as environmental regulations, during material handling and storage. \* Assist with the preparation and packaging of materials for return to vendors or transfer to other sites. \* Maintain accurate and organized material documentation, including receiving reports, issue tickets, and inventory logs. \* Perform general housekeeping duties in the materials yard and storage areas. Job Qualifications\*\* \* High school diploma or equivalent required. \* Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in materials management, warehousing, or logistics, preferably in a construction or industrial setting. \* Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment; certification is a plus. \* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. \* Ability to read and understand purchase orders, packing slips, and material specifications. \* Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory tracking software or systems. \* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. \* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. \* Must be able to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions. \* Commitment to safety and adherence to all company safety protocols. \* Valid driver's license preferred.**Company Overview:**Primoris Energy Services is a major direct-hire contractor in the U.S. delivering self-performed turnkey industrial construction and EPC services.
