Job Responsibilities:\*\* \* Receive, inspect, store, and issue materials and equipment according to project specifications and company procedures. \* Maintain accurate inventory records through a computerized inventory management system, performing regular cycle counts and reconciliations. \* Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and vendors to ensure material delivery schedules are met and discrepancies are resolved promptly. \* Prepare and process necessary documentation for material requisitions, purchase orders, transfers, and returns. \* Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of materials, including hazardous materials, in compliance with safety regulations. \* Conduct regular audits of material stock to identify obsolete, damaged, or excess inventory and recommend disposition. \* Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. \* Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks and other vehicles. \* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the warehouse and storage areas. \* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding material status and potential issues.
