Job summary

VIVA USA Inc. is seeking a Material Coordinator who will sit on the shop floor and help maintain accurate inventory while supporting daily production goals. You will analyze data, forecast material needs, and lead improvements in material replenishment and presentation.

The role requires hands-on collaboration across production, warehousing, and engineering, with weekend/overtime as needed to keep operations aligned with demand.

Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing operations, including material flow and inventory management.
• Experience with data analysis and advanced problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc...)
• Experience working cross-functionally with production, warehouse, supply management, and engineering teams. This person will sit on the shop floor- NOT a desk job
• Ability to work weekends/overtime as needed to support production.

Job description

As a Material Coordinator, you will:

• Maintain and improve inventory accuracy by resolving inventory discrepancies, analyzing root causes, and driving corrective actions on the shop floor via systems and working within a team.
• Support the manufacturing operation as part of a cross-functional team responsible for meeting daily production goals. Run reports on parts needing to be escalated. Part forecasting.
• Lead projects related to inventory accuracy, material replenishment, and material presentation for the production department of responsibility.

What Skills You Need

• Experience with manufacturing operations, including material flow and inventory management.
• Experience with data analysis and advanced problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc...)
• Experience working cross-functionally with production, warehouse, supply management, and engineering teams. This person will sit on the shop floor- NOT a desk job
• Ability to work weekends/overtime as needed to support production.

Education

Notes:

• 1st shift- 6:00 am-2:30pm
• OT when requested (daily,) potential for weekend (Saturday)
