Job summary

INDUS Technology, Inc. is seeking a Material Coordinator in Fallbrook, CA to maintain accountability of Government Furnished Equipment and company property across the full material lifecycle.

You will process requisitions, track materials, and ensure timely delivery per schedules on the TOSS contract. The role requires an active secret clearance, 3 years in government contracting supply chain, and strong MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Process supply requests, manage purchase orders, and validate data in ERP systems.
  • Conduct cyclical and annual inventories to ensure accountability of GFP and CAP.
  • Manage demilitarization and turn-in of excess/obsolete government property to DLA Disposition Services.
  • Utilize ETIDS for property processing.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and storage space; ensure security of sensitive inventory.
  • Maintain auditable records of all supply transactions.
  • Prepare standard transfer and disposal forms (e.g., DD 1348-1A, DD 1149).
  • Ensure compliance with FAR property clauses.
  • Provide general labor for test ranges and customer support on labor needs.
  • Assist with bid/proposal as requested.

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Material Coordinator responsibilities are to maintain 100% accountability of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and company property, process supply requisitions, and manage the full lifecycle of materiel from receipt through final DLA disposition. Arranges and accelerates flow of equipment, materials, parts, assemblies, and other materials according to schedules or priorities, and compiles and keeps manual or computerized records. Checks schedules and related information and confers with others to determine requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material on the Test Operations Support Services (TOSS) contract. This position is located in Fallbrook, CA.

  • Process supply requests, manage purchase orders, and validate financial/inventory data using commercial or government ERP systems.
  • Conduct cyclical and annual physical inventories to ensure strict accountability of all Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP).
  • Manage the demilitarization (DEMIL) and turn-in process for excess, damaged, or obsolete government property to DLA Disposition Services.
  • Utilize the Electronic Turn-in Document (ETIDS) system.
  • Optimize warehouse layout, manage storage space allocation, and ensure the physical security of sensitive inventory.
  • Maintain auditable, audit-ready records of all supply transactions.
  • Prepare standard military/contractor transfer and disposal forms (e.g., DD Form 1348-1A, DD Form 1149).
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) property clauses.
  • Provides general labor to set up test ranges and to assist customer with other labor needs.
  • Bid and proposal support if requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
  • HS Diploma required.
  • Three (3) years of experience providing supply chain management, warehousing, or inventory control, preferably within a government contracting or defense environment.
  • Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess strong time management skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
  • Travel Required 10% travel required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Desired Qualifications
  • Expertise in standard commercial ERP/WMS software, as well as familiarity with government electronic disposal systems (ETIDS).
  • Advanced technical training or a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration is a plus.
  • Prior military logistics experience (such as MOS 3043, 3051, or equivalent in other branches) is highly valued but not required.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must also be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking.
  • The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods of standing, or recurring and considerable walking, stooping, bending, crouching, and climbing such as performing regular shop activities, inspections, or to observe and study operations in an industrial or comparable work area, or on-board ships, submarines, and/or in weapon facilities.

INDUS aims to provide a competitive compensation package, including a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $32.00/hr - $35.00/hr. The pay range for this role considers job-related knowledge, skills, work location, education and training, and certifications.
