Job summary

Johnson Matthey is seeking a Material Controller in West Whiteland, PA to manage material handling, inventory accuracy and timely order support. You will weigh and move precious metal materials, document movements, and ensure secure storage in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with scheduling and logistics teams, routine equipment checks, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives across Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing environments.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and compliance in day-to-day operations.
• Ability to accurately weigh, record and move materials, up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with Microsoft applications and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle, process, weigh and ship precious metal materials in line with EH&S and Life Saving policies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and transact material movements within JM systems.
• Support OTIF delivery of customer orders through coordination with scheduling and logistics teams.
• Ensure materials are packed, stored and transported in compliance with security, regulatory and quality standards.
• Carry out routine equipment checks and support basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cross-train across Supply Chain functions.
