Job summary

Cinter Networks, Inc. in Fremont, CA is seeking a Material Control Specialist to manage shipping, inventory, and sales support for a semiconductor client. You will coordinate shipments, track inventory, and assist engineers with order status and pricing.

The role requires 1+ year in inside sales or customer service, Excel/data-entry proficiency, and bilingual English/Japanese skills. This is a permanent/full-time position with DOE expectations.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in inside sales and/or customer service.
• Experience in capital equipment or wafer processing is a plus.
• Experience with data entry and preparing spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Support shipping and inventory management to ensure on-time orders.

What will you do

Shipping and Inventory Management

• Plan shipments to make sure orders arrive on time.
• Receive customer orders and arrange shipments with the right carriers.
• Track inventory using the company’s inventory management system.
• Help outside sales representatives and engineers with order status questions and special customer requests.
• Identify and resolve shipping and delivery issues.
• Review inventory procedures and suggest ways to improve them to the Material Control Director.
• Perform other related duties as needed.

Inside Sales and Customer Service

• Help match customer needs, pricing, and technical requirements with the right products and solutions, with support from Account Managers.
• Communicate customer needs, questions, and problems to the FOA Engineering Team.
• Manage multiple tasks and projects to make sure customer needs are met on time.
• Provide regular updates to management on monthly and quarterly projects.
• Attend weekly production meetings to check manufacturing status, update delivery schedules, and keep order records accurate.
• Maintain current and historical sales records, booking reports, and RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) records.
• Prepare reports by collecting and presenting accurate information, identifying problems, suggesting solutions, and following up to ensure business goals and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare quotes for standard products and keep price lists updated based on instructions from Account Managers.
• Provide backup support for the phone system, including answering incoming calls and directing calls to the right people.
• Protect company information and keep confidential information private.

Sales Support

• Support new and existing customers by organizing daily tasks and schedules.
• Contact customers, respond to questions, and provide sales support through phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Set up new customer accounts and update existing customer information.
• Maintain customer files and records.
• Enter and update orders, process changes, prepare invoices, and handle filing.
• Provide management with updates on pricing, customer activity, new quotes, account history, and changes in customer requirements or competitor activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in inside sales and/or customer service, preferably in a high-tech company.
• Experience in the capital equipment or wafer processing industry is a plus.
• Experience with data entry and preparing spreadsheets.
