Job summary

Sirio Nutrition (California) LLC is seeking an on-site Materials/Quality Specialist in City of Industry, CA. You will review and release incoming raw materials, perform material disposition, manage nonconforming materials, and coordinate corrective actions within a GMP framework.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years in nutraceutical/pharmaceutical manufacturing or a College Degree with 2+ years.

High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years in nutraceutical/pharmaceutical manufacturing.
College degree with 2+ years in nutraceutical/pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Any combination of experience, education, and training to perform the job.

Responsibilities

Review and release incoming raw materials, packaging materials, and other production materials per specifications.
Verify analytical testing results and inspection results against material specs.
Perform material disposition including release, hold, rejection, and conditional release.
Manage nonconforming materials and document investigations and dispositions.
Coordinate corrective actions with relevant departments and suppliers and follow up on effectiveness.
Maintain records to ensure traceability and GMP compliance.
Support material-related quality activities with cross-functional teams.
