Job summary

Ecoplastic America in Register, GA seeks a detail-oriented Material Control Assistant Manager to optimize material flow, inventory control, and KD assembly line operations at our automotive manufacturing facility.

You will coordinate production planning, procurement, warehousing, and logistics to support on-time delivery and cost-effective manufacturing, with bilingual Korean/English communication and strong ERP data management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (supply chain, operations, industrial engineering).
• Experience in material control, production planning, or supply chain, preferably automotive.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork; bilingual Korean/English required.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for material handling, storage, and internal transportation.
• Monitor inventory levels and reduce waste, discrepancies, and carrying costs.
• Oversee warehouse operations and proper storage of materials.
• Manage KD assembly line to meet production schedules and delivery targets.
• Identify process improvements to shorten assembly time and boost KD line efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to streamline workflows.
• Work with procurement to establish cost-effective supplier relationships.
• Develop annual, monthly, and daily production plans based on demand.
• Analyze capacity constraints and mitigate bottlenecks with cross-functional teams.
• Support ERP setup and accurate data entry for production orders.
• Track downtime and coordinate maintenance to minimize impact.
• Prepare shipping instructions and manage outbound delivery for on-time fulfillment.
• Conduct monthly inventory reconciliation and pay-off procedures.
