Job summary

McLaughlin Body Company is seeking a dependable Material Handler to expedite the flow of materials from receiving to production. This role supports inventory accuracy and data entry to keep production on track.

The position requires counting, locating materials, using scanners, and data entry into CMS systems. A High School Diploma or GED is required, and on-site work is expected at our Illinois facility.

Position Summary

Tasks

• Ensure accuracy of counts and locations of materials.
• Insure accuracy in maintaining production records such as quantities and types produced. (Example: travelers, timecards). Must be able to check parts to Quality Control Documents.
• Must be able to receive material correctly & accurately into CMS system.
• Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.
• Capable of using and proficient in the use of a parts Scanner and must be capable of operating a computer.
• Must be able to load and unload items from trucks.
• Must be proficient in computer skills.

Physical Requirements

• Must be capable of occasional horizontal lift up to 75 pounds.

Experience and Education

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
