Staffmark Group is hiring a Material Handler for its Ontario, CA facility. The role involves loading/unloading, organizing inventory, and moving materials across receiving, storage, and shipping areas. Training starts with 2 days of 7 AM–4 PM; shifts run Fri–Sun with additional time slots and OT possibilities.

Location: Ontario, CA

Pay Rate: $21.64 per hour

Schedules:

• Friday - Sunday | 5 AM - 4:30 PM + OT
• Friday - Sunday | 5 PM - 4:30 AM + OT

First day will be a 7 AM start time. Will work 2 days from 7 AM - 4 PM for training.

Education Requirements

Experience Requirements

• 1-3 months of warehouse, material handling, shipping, receiving, or production experience preferred
• Experience with inventory control, order picking, or stockroom operations is a plus
• Basic computer skills and experience entering inventory information preferred
• Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred

• Ability to safely work around moving equipment and warehouse traffic
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

• Load and unload materials, products, and shipments from trucks and delivery vehicles
• Read production schedules, customer orders, shipping documents, and work orders to determine material movement requirements
• Transport materials between receiving, storage, production, and shipping areas
• Organize and store inventory on racks, shelves, and designated storage locations
• Pick, stage, and distribute materials, tools, and stock items for production and customer orders
• Prepare orders for shipping by palletizing, labeling, and routing products appropriately
• Verify and record inventory transactions, including received and distributed materials
• Weigh, count, and inspect products to ensure accuracy and quality standards
• Maintain inventory records using computer systems and warehouse documentation
• Open and process incoming containers, crates, and materials
• Prepare parcels and shipments for delivery
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Perform additional warehouse, inventory, and material-handling duties as assigned
