Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Material Analyst at our Electronics Manufacturing Facility in Huntsville to support programs from commercial to DoD, building cables per drawings and instructions and performing basic testing and repair.

You will work with lab managers, move materials, escalate shortages, and document movements in quality and accounting systems, collaborating with multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint and BOM/Costpoint Manufacturing Orders.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a clean workspace.
• US Citizenship with Final Secret clearance or eligibility for Secret clearance.
• Experience with MS Office, MES, and materials storage/accountability.

• Work with lab managers and technicians supporting production while maintaining delivery schedules and due dates.
• Material movement in and out of labs to support production builds.
• Escalate kit shortages or problems needed to complete builds.
• Packaging of completed cable assemblies.

• Work in team environment and interacting with different functions, project teams and productions teams.

Leidos’ Defense Systems Electronic Manufacturing Facility is seeking a Material Analyst to join our team at our Electronics Manufacturing Facility. The successful candidate will support different programs ranging from commercial customers to DoD customers. The technician will be responsible for building cables in accordance with engineering drawings and work instructions. Responsibilities include cable construction, basic testing, troubleshooting, and repair.

Basic Qualifications

• Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience in inventory management or materials management.

• Experience working in Deltek Costpoint.
• Familiarity with Bill of Material (BOM) and Costpoint Manufacturing Orders.

• Applicants must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to maintain workplace cleanliness with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Experience with consumable storage and accountability.
• ESD Processes & Procedures.
• Electronic components handling requirements.

Pay Range

Pay Range $41,600.00 - $75,200.00
