Job summary

Leidos in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Material Control Analyst to help manage materials and optimize inventory in our defense systems operations. You will work with Production Control Planners and use DELTEK Costpoint to track receipts and movements.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and relevant inventory experience, are able to lift, stand, and work overtime, and hold or be eligible for a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Manufacturing or inventory management.
• Candidate must be able to routinely lift objects up to 35-45 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming hardware and raw material for Inventory.
• Create labeling to identify material receipts.
• Perform inventory control tasks within DELTEK Costpoint management system.
• Process incoming and outgoing subcontract materials and assemblies.
• Coordinate with Production Control Planners.
• Move materials between an Inventory Management Warehouse and Production Floor using a fork-lift or pallet jack.
• Maintain an Inventory Bin System to store materials.

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working in the Manufacturing industry or relevant Inventory experience.
• Candidate must be able to routinely lift objects up to 35-45 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Inventory Control with knowledge of Hazmat and Shipping/Receiving functions.
• The preferred candidate will have 2 years of applicable working experience working in the Manufacturing industry or relevant Inventory experience.
• Experience using DELTEK Costpoint, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft office Suite (Word, Excel, and Microsoft outlook).

Pay Range

Pay Range $35,750.00 - $64,625.00
