Leidos is seeking a Materials Controller based out of Huntsville, AL!

Primary Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to support project logistics.
  • Receive materials and process goods receipts to maintain full material traceability and compliance with corporate and customer requirements.
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and compliant receiving and stockroom environment to support operational efficiency.
  • Participate in material packaging and shipments through UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers, preparing compliant documentation and shipping labels.
  • Assemble kits utilizing Costpoint generated pick lists. Assemblies range from PCBs, cables, to electronic test instruments.
  • Contribute to inventory reconciliation events to maintain accuracy and traceability of inventory.
  • Perform logistics support for the team as requested to ensure timely delivery of packages.
Basic Qualifications
  • U.S citizenship
  • High School Diploma and 1-5 years related work experience, to include experience with inventory database software and shipping/receiving.
  • Solid computer skills with experience performing online database entry, update, and lookup activities.
  • Ability to operate related office equipment and personal computer software packages to include Microsoft Office and Costpoint.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and effective communication.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work well with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • High level of attention to detail and organization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Costpoint or other ERP systems.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain.

Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.

Pay Range $35,750.00 - $64,625.00
