Job summary

NaphCare is seeking a MAT Nurse Practitioner to join the Pueblo County Jail medical team in Pueblo, CO. The NP will provide MAT services focusing on buprenorphine/naloxone, conduct assessments, and support patients with OUD within the correctional setting.

Qualified candidates hold a Colorado NP license, DEA registration, and BLS. Collaboration with custody, mental health, and community MAT providers is essential, along with compliant documentation and safety practices.

Qualifications

Advanced nursing education (Master's or Doctorate).
MAT/OUD treatment experience required.
Current NP license in Colorado and DEA registration.
BLS CPR Certification (AHA) and board certification.
Ability to pass background checks and work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive MAT services for incarcerated individuals with OUD.
Initiate, monitor and adjust Suboxone therapy per guidelines.
Conduct initial and ongoing clinical assessments for OUD and comorbidities.
Collaborate with correctional staff, mental health providers and counselors.
Ensure documentation in the EHR and MAT reporting, including discharge planning.
