Job summary

NaphCare is hiring a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Registered Nurse (RN) in Pueblo, Colorado to support care for individuals in a correctional facility. The MAT RN will work with correctional officers and medical staff to assess, treat, and educate patients within a controlled environment.

The role requires a CO RN license, BLS CPR, and at least five years of RN experience including one year in substance abuse.

Qualifications

• Active CO RN license (unrestricted).
• BLS CPR certification (American Heart Association).
• Minimum five years of RN experience with at least one year in substance abuse.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments for MAT eligibility.
• Administer MAT medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Educate patients on MAT medications and adherence.
• Monitor induction, stabilization, and treatment phases.
• Collaborate with MAT team to develop individualized plans.
• Document patient assessments and progress in the EHR.
• Conduct nursing visits, urine screens, labs, and dosing observations.
