Job summary

NaphCare, Inc. is hiring a MAT Nurse Practitioner to join the Marion County Jail team in Ocala, FL. You will provide Medication-Assisted Treatment to incarcerated patients with OUD, focusing on buprenorphine/naloxone, and coordinate care with correctional health staff.

The role requires NP licensure in Florida, DEA registration, and experience in MAT/OUD. You will work in a secure setting with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Advanced nursing education (Master's or Doctorate)
• MAT/OUD treatment experience required
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in FL
• Current DEA registration
• Collaborative agreement with on-site physician
• Active BLS CPR Certification (AHA)
• Board certification recognized by ABMS
• Knowledge of nursing principles and safety regulations

Responsibilities

• Provide MAT services for incarcerated individuals with OUD, focusing on buprenorphine/naloxone (Suboxone)
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments for OUD and readiness for treatment
• Initiate and monitor Suboxone therapy per guidelines and policies
• Collaborate with correctional healthcare, custody, mental health, and counselors
• Ensure accurate documentation in the EHR and regulatory reporting
• Participate in discharge planning and referrals to community MAT providers
