Job summary

OFFICE OF GILMER CO COMMISSIONERS seeks a Compliance Officer (MAT) to supervise Accountability Court participants with OUD/SUD and those on MAT. The role partners with law enforcement and court staff to ensure program adherence and community safety, including monitoring participation, curfew checks, and drug screening.

The position requires knowledge of addiction treatment, court procedures, and the ability to coordinate with police and treatment providers.

Qualifications

• Addiction, MAT, and mental health knowledge applied to compliance.
• Familiarity with law enforcement databases and court procedures.
• Ability to respond therapeutically to participants.

Responsibilities

• Attend team meetings and partner to ensure program mission and goals.
• Provide information on participant appropriateness to the team.
• Facilitate swift delivery of bench warrants for absconded participants.
• Act as liaison to police; educate on court programs for community safety.
