Lawrence Comprehensive Treatment Center in Lawrence, MA, is seeking a Substance Use Counselor for its Outpatient MAT OTP program. This full-time role offers a hybrid schedule after initial in-person training, with a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

You will work with a collaborative team delivering MAT, OBAT, and IOP services in community-based settings. The role requires a Master’s degree or equivalent credentials, expertise in MAT, and strong counseling skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work or related field.
• Credentials CAC/CAS/CADC/CRC/LADC/LICSW/LCSW/LMHC/LMFT or willingness to obtain within 60 days for bachelor’s candidates.
• Licensing or certification exam fees reimbursed.

Responsibilities

• Lead individual and group counseling sessions with compassion and professionalism.
• Design and manage tailored treatment plans for patients.
• Facilitate group or family therapy sessions as required.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient care and progress.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Coordinate aftercare plans for long-term recovery.
• Provide crisis intervention when needed.
• Manage patient cases to ensure high-quality care.
• Serve as liaison between patients and referral sources.
