Job summary

The City of Ann Arbor is seeking a dedicated coach for an Adults Masters swimming program. You will design workouts, provide skill instruction, and supervise participation in local Masters meets.

Candidates must be 18+, hold current lifeguard certification by start, and obtain CPR/AED and First Aid within 30 days. The City offers reimbursement up to $200 for Lifeguard certification after meeting 200 hours.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age with previous competitive coaching experience.
• Must obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 30 days of employment.
• Must possess current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification by start of employment.

Responsibilities

• Coaches adults of varying abilities in a Master’s group using swimming for exercise and competition.
• Design workouts, provide skill instruction, and supervise participation in local Masters meets.
