Job summary

The Greater Austin YMCA is seeking a Masters Swim Coach to lead and grow our Masters program at the aquatics facility in Buda, TX. You will design weekly workouts, mentor swimmers, and support meets to help athletes reach their goals.

The ideal candidate has USMS Level II, at least two years of coaching, CPR/First Aid, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. You will collaborate with staff to maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all swimmers.

Qualifications

• Two years of coaching experience.
• USMS Level II certification.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Minimum age 21.
• Team player with service attitude.

Responsibilities

• Design weekly workouts for Masters swimmers.
• Grow and develop the Masters Swim program.
• Provide positive and energetic coaching to swimmers.
• Attend and support swimmers at meets and competitions.
• Assist in maintaining the aquatics facility.
• Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with YMCA staff for smooth operations.
• Maintain knowledge of coaching techniques and trends.
• Comply with YMCA and USMS safety protocols.
• Mentor and motivate swimmers to achieve goals.
