American Addiction Centers is seeking a Counselor I to provide individual, group, and family counseling. You will conduct clinical assessments for new patients and ongoing requirements, and collaborate with the UR department to ensure comprehensive patient care.

The role involves participating in the treatment team, document adherence to policy, and supporting both outpatient and inpatient populations while maintaining professional boundaries and privacy standards.

Competenze

• Master's degree in behavioral sciences required.
• Minimum 2 years in behavioral healthcare preferred.
• Experience with substance abuse, addictions, mental health, CBT, and motivational interviewing.
• Experience with EHR software and documentation.
• Knowledge of ASAM criteria.
• Strong reading, writing, and communication skills; ability to present to groups.
• Proficient with Microsoft and Google.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.

• Provide individual, group and family counseling.
