American Addiction Centers seeks a Counselor-Intern to coordinate and provide individualized case management, group therapy, and bio-psychosocial assessments for clients within our facility. You will develop client resources, discharge planning, and placement, while maintaining communication with referrals and the UR Department.

Competenze

• Currently enrolled & studying for Drug & Alcohol counseling, social work or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 2 years’ experience working in a substance abuse environment preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with people and aid them in adjusting to their specific problems.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, family members, and other members of staff.
