Job summary

Youth Villages in Tennessee is seeking a Residential Master's Level Counselor to work with 8 to 12 youth daily in our licensed programs. This role emphasizes trauma-informed care and family partnership.

You will provide individual, group, and family therapy, create and bi-weekly update treatment plans, and manage admissions, transfers, and discharges while documenting in an EMR. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social services required.
• Must be willing to pursue licensure with supervision provided (required).
• One year of counseling experience required.
• Experience in a residential setting preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Works directly with 8 to 12 youth daily.
• Provides individual, group and family therapy.
• Creates and updates individualized treatment plans bi-weekly.
• Completes admissions and discharges for youth on residential campuses.
• Coordinates weekend visits and develops safety plans with families.
• Facilitates treatment meetings and consultations.
• Completes daily documentation in an electronic medical record system.
