Youth Villages in Memphis, TN is seeking a Behavioral Youth Counselor (Teacher Counselor) to teach essential life skills, provide daily care, and participate in treatment planning for youth ages 6 to 17 with behavioral and mental health challenges on our Tennessee campuses.

You will participate in transports, lead group therapy, document in an EMR, and support youth toward less restrictive settings, while maintaining a flexible weekend-based schedule with shifts that may include evenings.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with at-risk youth and/or families preferred.
• Experience working with youth required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain flexibility.

Responsabilidades

• Teaches youth life skills and provides for their daily physical care.
• Assists in treatment planning for each youth.
• Participates in youth transports to appointments, court dates, and community outings.
• Facilitates group therapy sessions to support life skills, social skills, and anger management.
• Completes daily documentation in an EMR system.
