Job summary

High Point & SEMCOA seeks a Master's Level Clinician to join Clinical Support Services in Brockton for part-time work with potential full-time prospects in ACCS/CSS. The role focuses on crisis stabilization, assessments, counseling, discharge planning, and collaboration with treatment teams.

Applicants should hold a Master's in a behavioral health field with licensure preferred; strong communication, leadership, and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master/Doctoral degree in Human Services related field such as psychology or social work required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and submits licensure or certificate necessary for the position.
• Comply with Federal Regulations, HIPAA, and confidentiality policies.
• Participate in Treatment Team Meetings; provide crisis intervention and screening.
• Maintain assigned caseload and provide direct patient care including assessments, counseling, and discharge planning.
• Document progress notes, group notes, and bio-psychosocial assessments in EMR.
• Coordinate aftercare and linkages to outpatient services upon discharge.
• Attend all unit and facility meetings and mandatory trainings.
• Coordinate insurance authorizations as needed.

Program & Location: Clinical Support Services (CSS) / Brockton & Adult Community Crisis Stabilization (ACCS), Brockton
Education: Master's degree in behavioral health or related field; license preferred
Pay Range: $33-$39/hr
Status: Part Time, Friday/Saturday CSS with possibility of full time on ACCS/CSS

Masters Level Clinician Requirements:

• Certification in the HPTC approved de-escalation program

• Knowledge of basic computer skills and software programs including the ability to learn, use and train HPTC 's electronic medical records

• Ability to provide leadership and program development within an outpatient site

• Knowledge of major clinical therapeutic models and behavioral health best practice

• Strong organizational, verbal and written communication

Masters Level Clinician Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains and submits any current Licensure or Certificate necessary for the performance of the position;
• Comply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol Abuse Policy and HIPAA Regulations;
• Participate in Treatment Team Meetings;
• Crisis intervention and screening for patients at risk;
• Maintain assigned caseload;
• Providing direct care to patients - including assessments of the new patients, individual counseling, discharge planning, treatment plans, daily progress notes, daily groups, group note completion and completion of bio-psychosocial assessments;
• Responsible for each assigned patients medical All records are to be professional, complete and thorough with entries made in a timely manners;
• Provide direct care to the This care will include, but not limited to, individual counseling, group facilitation, lectures, orientation for new patient's. discharge and aftercare planning, and case management of patients assigned;
• Responsible for linking patient's with aftercare services prior to discharge and aiding the
• patient and his/her family access outpatient services when appropriate;
• Attend all unit, facility meetings and case conferences as directed by the Clinical Director; Attend mandatory trainings;
• Responsible for contacting the insurance company for authorization, as needed;
• Utilize standards precautions at all times;
• Demonstrates behaviors that recognize the rights of patients as defined by the patient's
• rights;
• Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Program Director, Clinical Supervisor or Assistant Program
