Job summary

Augusta National Golf Club is seeking a Communications Intern to support its communications strategy for Masters Tournament season. Reporting to the Communications Manager, you will assist with press activities, editorial tasks, and content creation; relocation to Augusta, GA is required October through May with housing assistance provided.

You will monitor media coverage, support internal communications, and assist MTFoundation events. The internship is paid and requires confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in all tasks.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Effective time management to prioritize multiple projects.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of golf and Augusta National is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide editorial support, including proofreading, editing, fact-checking and drafting publications.
• Assist Communications Manager with press operations for Masters Tournament and MTFoundation events.
• Monitor media coverage and assist with internal communications.
• Support Marketing with internal and external materials.
• Attend meetings and prepare reports and action-item tracking.
