Hilton Tool is a Manufacturer of Precision Machined Components, expanding to a second location in Clackamas, Oregon. The role requires setting up a written manufacturing strategy, fixturing and tooling, and programming CNC Mills, Lathes, and Wire EDM machines using MasterCam.

You will plan projects from part drawings and models, ensuring parts meet print specifications. The position demands extreme attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work with

Qualifications

• Review drawings and customer requirements to develop a manufacturing strategy that will produce parts to meet customer requirements from start to finish.
• Create Process paperwork that will be followed by other machinists.
• Program CNC machines using MasterCam software
• Read, understand, and adjust G&M code
• Comply with all company safety guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Job description

Hilton Tool is a Manufacturer of Precision Machined Components. Specializing in close tolerance weldments, parts, assemblies, prototyping, and production runs. A successful candidate will be able to set up a written manufacturing strategy, including the fixturing and tooling needed to manufacture parts per print. Program CNC Mills, Lathes, and Wire EDM machines using the latest MasterCam software. Plan projects and create process paper from part drawings and models to use during manufacturing. This position requires a person very detail-oriented, well organized, has good computer skills, great communication skills, and a desire to be the best.

Day Shift

Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30 pm

Duties/Responsibilities

• Review drawings and customer requirements to develop a manufacturing strategy that will produce parts to meet customer requirements from start to finish.
• Create Process paperwork that will be followed by other machinists.
• Program CNC machines using MasterCam software
• Read, understand, and adjust G&M code
• Comply with all company safety guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Required Skills/Abilities

• Have a positive attitude
• Able to program Weldments of various sizes along with fully machined parts.
• Able to develop a plan, document manufacturing processes from start to finish.
• Able to critically think to resolve process issues as they arise.
• Extensive knowledge of CNC machine tools and controls.
• Extensive knowledge of tooling and machining strategies for complex geometry.
• Extensive Knowledge of 2,3 and 4 axis programming of CNC machine tools.
• Excellent blueprint reading and interpretation of GD&T on drawings.
• Excellent machine shop math skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Perform job requirements with limited supervision
• Strives to build knowledge and skills continuously; Shares expertise with others

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Able to stand for an entire shift
