Job summary

Hilton Tool in Clackamas, OR seeks an experienced Machinist Level 3 to set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, Wire EDM, and Sinker EDM with close-tolerance parts. Read drawings and GD&T to ensure quality, adjust tooling and offsets, and verify parts with precision measuring tools.

You will maintain safe, organized operations and contribute to a rapidly expanding precision manufacturing environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong CNC machining background with close-tolerance experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Knowledge of machine tools, controls, speeds, and feeds.
• Read and interpret GD&T and tolerances precisely.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC mills, lathes, Wire EDM, Sinker EDM and supporting equipment.
• Configure tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets.
• Read, understand, and adjust G & M code.
• Monitor production and adjust to maintain part quality and tolerance.
• Perform in-process and final inspections with precision tools.

Job description

Position: Machinist Level 3 | Location: Clackamas, OR | Pay: $35.00-$44.00/hour + $3.00/hour Swing Shift Differential

WHO WE ARE

Hilton Tool is a manufacturer of precision-machined components specializing in close-tolerance parts, assemblies, prototyping, and production runs. We are expanding into a second facility and are looking for experienced machinists who want to grow their careers in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Develop manufacturing plans based on drawing specifications
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and GD&T
• Set up CNC mills, lathes, Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, and supporting equipment
• Configure tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets
• Read, understand, and adjust G & M code
• Monitor production and make adjustments to maintain part quality and tolerance
• Maintain tolerances of +/-.001" throughout production
• Perform in-process and final inspections
• Inspect parts using height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
