Job summary

Hilton Tool LLC, a manufacturer of precision machined components, is seeking a skilled machinist to set up a manufacturing strategy, including fixturing and tooling, and to program CNC mills, lathes, and wire EDM machines using MasterCam. You will review drawings, create process paperwork, read G&M code, and maintain a safe, organized work area while collaborating with a team in Oregon.

Qualifications

• Have a positive attitude.
• Able to program Weldments of various sizes along with fully machined parts.
• Able to develop a plan, document manufacturing processes from start to finish.
• Able to critically think to resolve process issues as they arise.
• Extensive knowledge of CNC machine tools and controls.
• Extensive knowledge of tooling and machining strategies for complex geometry.
• Extensive Knowledge of 2,3 and 4 axis programming of CNC machine tools.
• Excellent blueprint reading and interpretation of GD&T on drawings.
• Excellent machine shop math skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Perform job requirements with limited supervision
• Strives to build knowledge and skills continuously; Shares expertise with others

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and customer requirements to develop a manufacturing strategy that will produce parts to meet customer requirements from start to finish.
• Create Process paperwork that will be followed by other machinists.
• Program CNC machines using MasterCam software
• Read, understand, and adjust G&M code
• Comply with all company safety guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
