Qualifications

• Mastercam 3D CAD/CAM proficiency for CNC programming.
• Experience with 3-5 axis CNC programming.
• Hands-on machining aerospace-grade materials.
• Strong speeds and feeds knowledge for superalloys.
• Solid tooling knowledge and cutting tool technology.
• Ability to read engineering drawings with GD&T.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common software.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering to optimize machining paths for quality and cycle-time reductions.
• Use Mastercam to author and refine CNC programs for milling and turning.
• Assist tool design with work-holding, fixturing, and gauging solutions.
• Verify and authorize CNC programming across manufacturing and engineering.
• Produce CNC code and setup sheets, tool lists, and documentation.
• Coordinate with tool crib to ensure tooling alignment.
• Provide shop-floor support: setup, troubleshooting, and program validation.
• Identify improvements to cycle times, methods, and tool usage.
• Join manufacturing meetings to address production challenges.
• Work with operators to adjust programs and collect insights.
• Uphold quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
