Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience reading AWS weld symbols and blueprints.
• Ability to interpret prints for fabrication and welding.
• Must pass periodic weld testing and quality checks.
• Industrial/mfg background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld components per specs and blueprints.
• Interpret AWS weld symbols and fit parts accurately.
• Lift, position, and weld parts in multiple orientations.
• Lead or assist layout activities and prepare materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and surface prep for fabrication.
• Operate forklifts/overhead cranes with proper rigging.
• Follow quality standards using gauging methods.
• Maintain safe operations and report issues.
• Perform additional duties as production requires.
• Comply with PPE and safety regulations; pass weld tests.
