Job summary

Mueller Water Products is seeking a Fabricator/Welding Specialist for our Kimball, TN facility. This role focuses on fabricating and welding structural components, interpreting blueprints, and maintaining quality while adhering to safety standards.

The position requires MIG/TIG/SMAW proficiency, ability to read weld symbols, and experience with overhead cranes. Nuclear welding certification may be required for certain products; strong safety discipline is essential.

Qualifications

• Must pass periodic weld testing.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, and SMAW welding.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and fabricate from prints.
• Must be able to weld similar and dissimilar materials.
• May require nuclear welding certification for nuclear products.
• Overhead crane and rigging experience.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate/fitting and welding of components.
• Accurately interpret blueprints and AWS weld symbols.
• Lift, position, and secure work pieces for welding.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions.
• Maintain quality standards and production logs; assist in pass-off between shifts.
