Job summary

Napleton Italian Imports in Carmel, Indiana, is seeking an Automotive Master Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles to factory standards. The role emphasizes building customer trust through accurate diagnostics and reliable service.

The position offers a pay range of $75,000-$130,000 with incentive-based pay, plus benefits and opportunities for certification, training, and career advancement. Flexible shifts and relocation support are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Master Level Technician required.
• ASE and/or Manufacturer certifications are a plus.
• Ideal candidate is a self-starter and process-driven.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain diagnostics and needed repairs to customers and staff clearly.
• Continuously update technical skills through formal training to stay current with automotive technology.
• Maintain an organized and neat service bay and keep management informed of repair issues.

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next Automotive Master Technician. This is an exciting opportunity in a growing, fast-paced industry.

Located at NapletonItalian Imports(Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Fiat) located in Carmel, Indiana (recently voted the #1 Best Place to Live In America- by U.S. News), the Master Technician is responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effective vehicle diagnosis and repair.

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequate explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.Maintains an organized and neat service bay

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Master Level Technician required.
• ASE and or Manufacturer certifications are a plus
• Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is process-driven
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
