Job summary

Ed Napleton Automotive Group in Carmel, IN is seeking an Automotive Master Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles to factory standards and build customer trust through expert service. The role offers top flat-rate hours, paid training and certifications, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and paid vacation.

Candidates require at least 3 years as Journeyman/Master Technician, are process-driven, and able to pass background checks; ASE Master

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman/Master Technician.
• Ideal candidate is process-driven and self-starting.
• Willingness to undergo a background check per local laws.
• Must be 18+ years old to comply with driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computers.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs clearly to customers or staff.
• Continuously update technical skills through training to keep pace with new tech.
• Keep management informed of mechanical issues as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat service bay.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequate explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and neat service bay

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman/ Master Technician required.
• Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is process-driven
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
