Job summary

Napleton Italian Imports Maserati, Alfa Romeo and Fiat in Carmel, Indiana seeks an Automotive Master Technician with 3+ years of experience to diagnose and repair vehicles to factory standards. The role emphasizes building customer trust through clear communication and meticulous work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Master Level Technician required.
• ASE and/or Manufacturer certifications are a plus.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills across brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and required repairs to non-mechanical individuals as required.
• Continuously update technical skills through formal training to stay current with automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat service bay.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequate explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and neat service bay

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Master Level Technician required.
• ASE and or Manufacturer certifications are a plus
• Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is process-driven
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
