Job summary
Volvo Cars Seattle is seeking a Volvo factory Master Technician to join our Seattle store. The role emphasizes advanced electrical, high-voltage EV/PHEV diagnostics, and complex drivetrain work with VIDA and OEM procedures.
You will diagnose, repair, and document work to Volvo standards, mentor peers, and stay current with platform updates while delivering exceptional guest service in a values-driven environment.
Qualifications
- Volvo Master Technician certification required.
- 5+ years Volvo or European-brand tech experience.
- VIDA diagnostic platform proficiency.
- EV/PHEV diagnostic and repair experience.
- ASE Master Technician certification a strong plus.
- Valid driver's license with clean record.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair Volvo vehicles across all systems using VIDA and OEM procedures.
- Handle the shop's most complex diagnostic cases.
- Serve as a technical resource for other technicians.
- Perform multi-point inspections and develop repair plans.
- Execute repairs to Volvo OEM specifications with precision.
- Maintain current Volvo factory certifications and EV/PHEV updates.
- Document diagnostic findings and repair work on repair orders.
- Perform test drives to validate diagnostics before vehicle return.
