Job summary

Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Master Technician for Napleton Italian Imports (Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Fiat) in Carmel, Indiana. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing vehicles to dealer and factory standards, while building customer trust through accurate diagnostics and service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Master Technician.
• ASE and manufacturer certifications are a plus.
• Ability to explain diagnosis and repairs to customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C, and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and required repairs to customers and staff.
• Update technical skills through formal training to stay current with automotive technology.
• Notify management of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat service bay.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequate explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and neat service bay

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Master Level Technician required.
• ASE and or Manufacturer certifications are a plus
• Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is process-driven
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
