Job summary

Napleton Hyundai of Carmel is seeking an Automotive Master Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles to dealer and factory standards, building customer loyalty through accurate diagnosis and quality repairs. The role emphasizes staying current with evolving automotive technology and maintaining an organized service bay.

The position offers a competitive pay range ($75,000–$130,000 annually) with incentives, plus paid training, manufacturer certifications, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman Technician.
• Self-starter who is process-driven.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals as required.
• Continuously update technical skills through formal training to stay current with automotive technology.
• Keep management informed of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat service bay.

Located atNapleton Hyundai of Carmel, theMaster Technicianisresponsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effective vehicle diagnosis and repair.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequate explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and neat service bay

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman Technician required.
• Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is process-driven
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
