Ed Napleton Automotive Group, located at Hyundai of Carmel in Indianapolis, seeks an Automotive Master Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles to factory standards. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years as a Journeyman Technician, strong diagnostic skills across brakes, electrical, fuel systems, suspension and A/C, and a commitment to ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman Technician.
• Strong diagnostic skills across braking, hydraulic, electrical, suspension and A/C systems.
• Willingness to undergo background check per local law/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers or employees as required.
• Continuously update technical skills through formal training sessions to stay current with automotive technology.
• Keep store management informed of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat service bay.
