Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Technician for Napleton Hyundai of Carmel in Carmel, IN. The technician will perform repairs and maintenance, diagnose issues, and communicate with customers to build trust and loyalty.

Responsabilités

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance per repair order to dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts and Service Advisors to manage production and customer updates.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs as needed.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers and staff.
• Stay updated with factory Bulletins and training.
• Maintain an organized work area.

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next Automotive Service Technician. This is an exciting opportunity in a growing, fast-paced industry. Located at Napleton Hyundai of Carmel, the Automotive Service Technician will be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effectively diagnosing vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
• Maintains an organized work area

Job Requirements:

• Automotive Service Technician experience
• ASE certification desirable
• Excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills
• Valid Driver's License
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
