Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Master Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend products and services. The Master Stylist delivers quality professional services with an emphasis on the guest’s total look and supports the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager.

The role requires a passion for the beauty industry, exceptional guest service, and the ability to learn and communicate product knowledge while performing hair services and helping drive store goals.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license.
• Previous relevant work experience is required.
• Strong guest service orientation and communication skills.
• Proficiency with latest salon techniques and products.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services including design, color, styling, and extensions where applicable.
• Meet or exceed sales goals for hair services and contribute to retail/service sales.
• Demonstrate and sell pro hair care and makeup products.
• Maintain store operational standards and comply with safety guidelines.
• Build guest relationships through consultations and personalized recommendations.
• Stay informed on trends and new products to better serve guests.
