Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking an experienced structural steel worker in Sabine Pass, Texas. The role involves reading and interpreting instructions, planning and executing steel erection tasks with a crew, and ensuring safety standards on site.

Duties include setting up hoisting equipment, positioning girders, bolting or welding components, and transporting materials while following project guidelines. Prior field experience and definitive rigging knowledge are highly valued.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior field experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and drawings.
• Plan work and select proper tools to complete tasks.
• Works under supervision with standard procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Set up hoisting equipment and place structural steel members.
• Fasten steel members to cables using chains, ropes, or cables.
• Signal hoisting operator to lift and position members.
• Guide members into position using tag lines and hand signals.
• Weld and cut steel components as needed using welding equipment.
• Transport and handle materials and tools safely.
• Observe safety rules and wear required PPE.
