Responsibilities

• Sets up hoisting equipment and places structural-steel members.
• Fastens steel members to hoist cable using chain, rope, or cable.
• Signals hoisting operator to lift and place members.
• Guides members into position using tag lines.
• Cleans, maintains, and inspects tools and equipment.
• Performs basic welding and cutting as needed.
• Loads, transports, unloads materials and supplies.
• Adheres to safety rules and wears PPE at all times.
