Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a Rigging Assembly worker responsible for assembling rigging to move equipment and materials on construction sites in Texas. The role involves coordinating loads, attaching blocks and cables, and guiding crane operators to maintain safety and efficiency.

Applicants should be comfortable reading diagrams and performing precise work under supervision, following established guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred with field experience.
• Follows instructions and established guidelines under supervision.
• No independent judgment typically required.

Responsibilities

• Loads, transports, unloads and assists in selecting cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks and sheaves, per load size.
• Attaches pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures with bolts and clamps.
• Attaches load with grappling devices to crane hook.
• Directs crane operator to ensure safety during hoisting.
• Sets up braces and rigs hoisting equipment with hand tools.
