Pay Rate: $36.00-45.00/hour*

POSITION SUMMARY:

This role involves maintenance and repair of customer equipment, requiring proficiency in at least two skill sets, a high level of productivity, and possession of three CFESA certifications. The position includes on-call duties and leadership responsibilities, including mentoring and training others.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Adhere to safety policies and use personal protective equipment.
2. Troubleshoot and repair gas, electric, water, refrigeration, and steam-powered commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment.
3. Use a tablet to document tasks, parts, and work details promptly.
4. Communicate professionally with customers about repairs and status.
5. Use proper tools, including hand and power tools.
6. Monitor and maintain truck stock of parts.
7. Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms.
8. Work independently with supervision.
9. Participate in weekend/holiday on-call rotation and overtime as needed.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Obtain correct part numbers from the branch parts person.
2. Collect payments on COD jobs.
3. Contribute to branch response time and first-time fix rate targets.
4. Participate in training to enhance skills and knowledge.
5. Perform other duties as required.

CONTACTS:

• Internal: Daily contact with branch staff; occasional with corporate staff.
• External: Regular contact with customers; occasional with factory warranty personnel.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• 1 year of relevant experience.
• CFESA Master Technician with three of four certifications.
