Job summary

ColonialWebb Contractors in Maryland seeks a senior plumbing lead to guide technicians and apprentices on commercial plumbing systems. You will diagnose leaks, repair water closets, fire sprinkler piping, HVAC hydronic components, and help grow our customer base within the territory.

Required is a Master’s Plumbing License (or ability to obtain soon), strong communication, OSHA knowledge, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Master’s level experience and thorough knowledge of commercial plumbing systems.
• Master’s License or ability to obtain shortly after hire.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within territory.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to technicians and apprentices.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing system failures (leaks, stoppages).
• Repair plumbing components (water closets, sanitation, fire sprinkler piping, storm drainage, domestic water heating, HVAC hydronic).
• Help develop our existing customer base.
• Qualify and estimate work for plumbing service projects.
• Support sales efforts including prospecting for opportunities and closing deals.

What you will do

• Provide leadership and guidance to technicians and apprentices
• Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing system failures (such as system leaks and stoppages)
• Repair various plumbing components including water closets, sanitation systems, fire sprinkler piping systems, storm drainage systems, domestic water heating systems, and HVAC hydronic systems
• Help develop our existing customer base
• Qualify and estimate work for plumbing service projects
• Support sales efforts including prospecting for new opportunities and closing deals
• Perform maintenance and repair operations to commercial plumbing systems

What we are looking for

• Master’s level experience and thorough knowledge of commercial plumbing systems
• Master’s Plumbing License or ability and willingness to obtain a Master’s License shortly after hire
• Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
• Advanced technological proficiency including Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Possesses a valid driver’s license and willing to travel within territory
• Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Capable of maintaining a high energy level to handle our dynamic, fast-paced workload
• Pass a driving record check, criminal background check, credit record check and drug screen
