Job description

The Master Planner is a key position to help this ambitious company meet and exceed our goals and continue to Grow Big and Scale Fast. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating production schedules that satisfy Customer Demand in a diverse Electronics engineered and make to order environment, and in collaboration with other team members ensures fully optimizing labor effectiveness and driving Material availability while also controlling inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the ERP system to create daily/weekly production schedules.
• Create work jobs to be distributed to production work centers.
• Work with Production Cell leads to optimize labor efficiency and utilization.
• Be creative and flexible to retrieve schedules when manufacturing challenges occur.
• Communicate appropriately with Customer Service to ensure Customers get the most accurate delivery information.
• Coordinate with the material group to ensure material availability, while ensuring company inventory goals are met.
• Upkeep data maintenance to ensure organization wide transparency and accuracy for delivery and financial information.
• Track KPIs to create data driven improvement opportunities.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
• 6-10+ years in a similar scheduling role
• Experience being an ERP/MRP master user (Syteline preferred but not essential)
• Experience within the manufacture of Engineered Electronics controllers and panels preferred
• Experience in diverse manufacturing ‘job shop’ preferred.
• Experience in understanding CAD drawings preferred.
• Proficient computer skills of Microsoft Office suite
• Great team player
