Job summary

MDS Staffing seeks a Master Scheduler for an EMS site in PA to own the Master Production Schedule, balancing customer demand with capacity and lead times to ensure on-time delivery.

You will drive schedule development, capacity planning, and material alignment with Procurement and Warehouse, maintaining data integrity in the ERP system for BOMs and routing timelines.

EMS/PCBA scheduling experience and strong ERP/MRP and Excel skills are required; APICS CPIM/CSCP certification is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4–6+ years in production scheduling, planning, or master scheduling within a manufacturing environment (EMS or PCBA background preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and expert-level Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Development: Create, maintain, and optimize the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for high-mix electronic assemblies, converting customer forecasts and orders into an executable manufacturing plan.
• Capacity Planning: Analyze labor, machinery, and tooling constraints against demand to identify bottlenecks and balance solutions.
• Material Alignment: Partner with Procurement and Supply Chain to ensure component availability aligns with the production schedule, minimizing inventory costs.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Lead planning meetings with Program Management, Production Leads, and Warehouse to review adherence and adjust priorities.
• Data Integrity: Use and manage data in the ERP system, ensuring accurate lead times and BOM routing timelines.
