Job summary

Auria is seeking a Master Scheduler for our Fremont, Ohio plant to develop and monitor part-number level production schedules and align with customer demand. You will publish capacity loads, forecast direct labor, and maintain key metrics to meet an 85% schedule achievement.

The role requires ERP experience and a strong supply chain background. You will collaborate with SCM to balance capacity, inventory, and tooling plans, travel to North America plants as needed, and support ECN/PM schedules

Qualifications

• College degree in business management or related field
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Review customer schedules and develop, communicate, and monitor the execution of a part-number-level schedule by work center for the plant
• Publish a rough-cut capacity load by work center based on future customer forecasts
• Forecast the plant's direct labor requirements using customer demand and routing labor details within the plant ERP system
• Maintain the plant's achievement-to-schedule metric, ensuring that the leadership team understands the goal and that there are sound plans to achieve 85% minimum
• Establish and monitor FG/ WIP safety stock levels based on the plant's ability to achieve schedule and inventory level objectives
• Support the engineering change process as required by the Supply Chain Manager
• Participate with the SCM team to achieve targets, goals and objectives
• Monitor the customer forecasts, comparing quoted capacities to required capacities and communicating overages to the SCM manager in advance of the requirement
• Assist the operations team with continuously improving labor and machine efficiencies
• Support the plant with a schedule that supports ECN's, PM schedules, and tooling repairs
• Support the plant team with balance-out and launch activity
• Other duties as assigned.

We are currently searching for a Master Scheduler to join our team at our plant in Fremont, OH.

What you will do:

What you will bring:

• Prior experience in Supply Chain
• College degree in business management or related field preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Travel Requirements:

• Travel may be required to other North America Plants.

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:

• Strong communicator in English, at all levels of the organization, both verbal and written
• Possess strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with all levels across the organization in order to influence performance
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-team environment and with people at all levels
• Experience scheduling in an automotive manufacturing environment
• Lean Manufacturing understanding (SMED, TPM, Kanban……)
• Prior experience with calculations associated with shop floor efficiencies
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and planning concepts
• Knowledge of ERP systems; Plex ERP a plus
