Job description

MMI Engineered Solutions is currently seeking Master Scheduler to join our Team! Our ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years of Scheduling experience, preferably utilizing IQMS.

The Master Scheduler is responsible for ensuring that all time lines related to the manufacturing of MMI products (including procurement, sourcing and production) are adhered to and proceed in an efficient manner. Plans and prepares production schedules for the manufacturing floor.

Duties include:

• Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each work order to meet shipping dates according to customer orders and/or sales forecasts.
• Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data utilizing IQMS to determine molding machine, tool, and human resource requirements.
• Plans and schedules workflow for operations according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
• Plans molding, assembly, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers.
• Confers with plant floor supervision to determine status of assigned projects.
• Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or 4 to 6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
• Demonstrated ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
• Excellent mathematical skills, including proven ability to work with concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Proven ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Demonstrated practical knowledge of Enterprise Management Systems (preferably IQMS).
